• What is Junoon like?
  Junoon is a hidden oasis in the heart of Bradford, created for people who want to unwind in a relaxed, social setting. Guests can enjoy shisha, teas, coffees, refreshing drinks, food, and a calm atmosphere — whether visiting with friends or meeting new people.
• What is a shisha cafe or lounge?
  A shisha cafe or lounge is a venue where guests can enjoy shisha or hookah in a social environment. It typically offers a range of flavours, drinks, and food in a relaxed setting.
• Is it a mixed lounge?
  Yes. Junoon welcomes a diverse mix of guests and is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive environment. Guest safety, privacy, and comfort are taken seriously. There is a zero tolerance approach to harassment.

Entry & Admission

• What are the age requirements to enter?
  Junoon is strictly for guests aged 21 and over. Please bring valid photo ID — passport, driving licence, or PASS card. No ID, no entry.
• What if I don't want shisha — can I still come in?
  Junoon operates as a private smokers club. Admission requirements apply to all guests regardless of what they order.
• Is there an entry fee?
  Admission requires a minimum order. This is usually 1 shisha between 2 guests, or 2 shishas between 3 guests, plus a drink per person.
• Is there a minimum spend for table reservations?
  As long as the admission requirements are met, there is no additional minimum spend for table reservations.

Opening Hours

• What are your opening hours?
  Saturday to Thursday: 2pm to 2am. Friday: 5pm to 2am. We are open 365 days a year including bank holidays.
• Will you stay open later for a large group?
  No. Junoon closes at 2am without exception.

Bookings & Groups

• Do I need a reservation?
  Reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups and peak times. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.
• Can you accommodate large groups?
  Junoon can usually accommodate groups of 15 to 20 people. Larger groups may need advance planning and at least 24 hours notice. Call us on +44 1274 449066 to arrange.
• Can I host a private event or party at Junoon?
  Yes. Private events and parties can be accommodated. Contact us in advance to discuss your requirements.
• What can you do for birthdays and celebrations?
  We can arrange personalised music, desserts with candles or sparklers, and small decorations such as balloons. Confetti and glitter are not allowed. Let us know in advance so we can make it special.

Shisha

• What are the shisha prices?
  Prices start from £12 and vary depending on the bowl, flavour, setup, and heat management preferences.
• How long does a shisha last, and can I share it?
  A typical session lasts around 1.5 hours. Staff replace the coal regularly to keep smoke smooth and flavour fresh. Yes, shisha can be shared.
• What type of coal do you use?
  We use natural coconut coal, chosen for its cleaner burn and better flavour.
• Can I bring my own shisha tobacco or hookah equipment?
  No. Guests cannot bring their own tobacco or equipment. We use our own setup to maintain quality and consistency — it's part of the experience.
• Do you offer hookah customisation?
  Yes. Ask staff about customisation options including heat management preferences.
• Do you offer shisha catering for outside events?
  Yes. Junoon offers shisha catering and hookah rentals for private parties and outside events. Call us on +44 1274 449066 to discuss.

Food & Drinks

• Do you serve food?
  Yes. We offer desserts and shisha-compatible bites. We don't serve full meals — this is a lounge, not a restaurant.
• Do you serve drinks?
  Yes. We serve teas, coffees, mocktails, and other refreshing drinks. We have a strict no alcohol policy — BYOB is not allowed.
• Can I bring my own food or drinks?
  No. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
• Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?
  Yes. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Payments

• Do you accept card payments?
  Yes. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Bills can be split between guests.

Dress & House Rules

• Is there a dress code?
  Yes. Smart casual. From 6pm onwards, shorts, vests, gym wear, slippers, and sliders are not permitted. When in doubt, dress up not down.
• Can we smoke cigarettes or cigars inside?
  No. Cigarettes and cigars may only be smoked in designated outdoor areas. Shisha is available throughout the indoor space.
• Can I bring board games or cards?
  Yes. Guests are welcome to bring board games or cards to enjoy with friends.

Venue & Facilities

• Where is Junoon located?
  We're on the 2nd floor at 156 Grattan Road, Bradford, BD1 2JL — centrally located with easy access from across West Yorkshire.
• Is there parking nearby?
  Yes. Street parking is available on Grattan Road and surrounding side streets. Public transport or a taxi is often easier during peak hours.
• Is Junoon wheelchair accessible?
  No. Junoon is on the 2nd floor and there is currently no lift access. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
• Do you have outdoor seating?
  Yes. Junoon has an outdoor area known as the terrace.
• Is there a prayer room?
  Yes. A prayer room is available for guests.
• Do you have Wi-Fi?
  Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available for all guests.
• Do you have a lost and found?
  Yes. Ask any member of staff about lost items.
• Are there live events or themed nights?
  Yes. Junoon occasionally hosts live entertainment, music performances, and themed nights. Follow us on social media for updates.
